1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Vistara Technolabs (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Bhagavad Gita mobile application (“App”).

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Our Terms & Conditions also apply to your use of the App.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

Account information. When you sign in with Google, Facebook, or Apple, we receive basic profile details such as your name and email address from that provider. We do not receive or store your password for those services.

Progress and preference data. To provide App features, we may store reading progress, streaks, favorites, language and theme preferences, and similar usage data linked to your account.

Subscription and purchase data. If you subscribe to a paid plan, we receive purchase and entitlement information from Apple App Store or Google Play (such as product identifiers and transaction status) so we can unlock the features you paid for. Payment card details are handled by the app stores — we do not collect or store your full payment card numbers.

Device and analytics data. We may collect limited technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and usage events through analytics tools (including Firebase Analytics) to understand App performance and improve reliability.

Advertising data. If ads are shown in the App, advertising partners (such as Google AdMob) may collect device-level identifiers and interaction data to deliver and measure ads, subject to their own privacy policies and applicable platform settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• create and manage your account;
• provide, personalize, and improve App features (including progress syncing across sessions);
• process and maintain subscriptions and entitlements;
• show ads where applicable, or suppress ads for eligible subscribers;
• monitor performance, diagnose issues, and keep the App secure;
• communicate with you about support requests or important service updates; and
• comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your personal data or Progress Data to train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve any artificial intelligence or machine learning models — ours or any third party’s.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in these situations:

• Service providers. With vendors that help us operate the App (for example authentication providers, analytics, advertising, hosting, and app store billing), solely as needed to provide their services.
• Legal requirements. When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users, the public, or Vistara Technolabs.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services that have their own privacy practices, including (as applicable) Google Sign-In, Facebook Login, Sign in with Apple, Firebase Analytics, Google AdMob, Apple App Store, and Google Play. We encourage you to review their privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and related App data for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide the App and meet legal, accounting, or security requirements. When you delete your account from within the App, we soft-delete your account and associated user data in our systems so it is no longer available for normal use. Some anonymized or aggregated records, and records we must keep for legal or billing reasons, may be retained for a longer period.

7. Your Choices & Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate information;
• request deletion of your account and associated personal data (available in the App under Profile → Delete Account);
• manage notification preferences and sign out of the App at any time; and
• control advertising and tracking settings through your device or platform privacy controls (for example Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompts and system privacy settings).

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including where our servers or service providers operate. Where we do so, we take steps designed to ensure an appropriate level of protection consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other reasonable means. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
